4 Day Workshop
Demand for effective trainers far exceeds supply, so whether you are planning to do this full time or part-time, in-house or as an external consultant, departmental or organisational, this intensive 4 day program, will help you develop sound fundamentals of training and/or build on what you already know. You can literally bring yourself up-to speed as a knowledgeable and skilful trainer by the end of this course.
The program design intends to transform subject matter experts who are “non-trainers” into skilful trainers who can deliver training rather than just present information. They can start to see themselves as facilitators, agents of learning, and performance consultants, helping people and organisations improve performance.
Importantly, they can easily adapt the activities and active learning techniques learnt to any topic and training situations with little effort.
The participant-centred, workshop format uses interactive and experiential activities, including role plays, case studies, group discussion, skill practice, assessment instruments, and lectures. The activities are designed to ensure both individual and group participation. Participants will actually experience the techniques as they learn how to apply them in their own training situations.
The program is modular in design, and delivered either as a 6 day workshop, with opportunities for sufficient facilitation and skill practice, or it can be condensed as a 4 day program with limited facilitation and skill practice, due to time, budget and other constraints, with added consideration to the skill levels and experience of participants.
In exceptional cases we do consider a 3 day in-house program. Write to us for details of this programme.
